Dear friend.

It is with joy that I take time to write to you. It has been already a few months that I did not send my newsletter.

In fact, I was in Brazil since November 14, 2019 for medical treatments but also to visit churches, visit my family and friends on the southeast of Brazil.

By the grace of God, I have made the necessary steps to be accepted at the Hospital Sarah Kubitschek, one of the best in South America for rehabilitation and traumatology. For my surprise I was called to be hospitalized in January. Normally it takes months for someone to be accepted there. I was amazed that the treatment was accessible to all and free, with quality service and with good results.  I stayed in the hospital for almost a month and on weekends I took the opportunity to visit the churches of the Brazilian capital.

These three months passed in Brazil have been months of great blessings especially for the opportunity to talk about the mission, share the word of God and bear witness about my accident and God's grace on my life.

When I arrived in Brazil in November I went to a well-known neurologist in Brazil and even outside. He prescribed me drugs that   reduced    my pain to 80% and in addition he helped me to apply for a place at the Hospital Lucy Montoro in Sao Paulo, the one also very recognized in research for spinal cord injuries and rehabilitation treatments.   I must wait for a place to be hospitalized around April.  I returned to Bosnia on February 27 as planned and wait for the hospital call.

So, I will take the opportunity to help and encourage the church in Zenica and solve some small problems that took place during my absence.

When I left for Brazil, we set up leaders for the church, for the Day care center and for the Grace Valley.  People who had their own role and responsibilities to manage and conduct the various activities.

The church has suffered a little more than other ministries, but it continues its activities. The young people gathered and decided to have a youth group every Monday with already twelve young people.

Also, Samir, Melanie, my sister and some teenagers started the Bible group for children every Saturday. This is beginning to take shape and we must pray that God will save children and that through them their parents may also know the savior.

My trip to Brazil has allowed to have meetings with several people interested in the mission. We can already see the results of this trip. A couple with three children will move to Zenica at the end of May, another couple is getting ready and will get married and planning to move to Bosnia in November. Another family: a couple with two children have just moved to Belgium to work with the Belgian Evangelical Protestant churches. Last year they came in a survey trip in Bosnia and later they went to Belgium. Finally, God directed them to move to Belgium.

Since my arrival  in  Europe in  1991 I have always  prayed  for this once Christian continent and the cradle of the great awakenings that inflamed the Christians of the 17th, 18th  century who took  the gospel all over the world, and today Europe needs more than ever to be evangelized  and helping churches that want help.   

Brazil is the third country where it has the largest Christian in the world and thousands want to be missionaries in the world to share the good news of Jesus. Unfortunately, most church leaders do not have the vision for the mission and are not generous to support those who want to go on a mission. God has put in my heart the vision for this continent and not only for Bosnia and Herzegovina.  I want to be an instrument in God's hands to mobilize, train and help not only The Bosnians but also the Brazilians to accomplish the great commission of Jesus in Matthew 28.19-20.

In February  happened  in three major football stadiums a gathering of young  people called “THE SEND” , more than 140000 young people gathered for 12 hours were faced with the need to commit with all their heart to God and have a real experience with him and go all over the world to preach the good news of salvation. More than 10,000 youth said yes to the call for the mission and more than 4000 young people gave their lives to Jesus. We are living in a great moment on history and we must enjoy and give everything for Jesus and for the mission so that many people as possible can be saved. But the last few weeks with the CORONA virus pushing down the global economy. Most of the Brazilians missionaries abroad are suffering with the lack of   financial support due to the fall of the Brazilian currency toward  the dollar.

I must thank all those who have prayed and are still praying for my life. I want to be thankful for the gifts and donations that I have received not only for my personal needs but also to cover the expenses due to the operation of the Day Care center, Grace Valley, church and others.

Again, I want to say thank you for the friendship, love, care and generosity that you and others have showed toward me and for the kingdom of God.

                        Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,  to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
